About this platform
This platform is designed to facilitate registrations for Irish dance competitions sanctioned by WIDA (World Irish Dance Association). It supports three types of user accounts:
- Dancer — create and manage your own competition entries.
- Dancer's Parent — manage registrations and payments on behalf of a child.
- Teacher — manage students, enter them into competitions, and handle team entries.
How it works
- Create an account as a dancer, parent, or teacher and confirm your email address.
- Select an event — choose the competition you wish to attend from the list of upcoming feiseanna.
- Choose dances — pick the dances or categories to enter according to WIDA rules.
- Pay fees — the platform collects a Platform Fee of 900 AMD per dancer for each event, and you pay Competition Fees to the event organiser according to WIDA regulations (see https://irish.dance).
- Receive confirmation — after successful payment you will receive confirmation and any necessary documents or receipts.
Fees and payments
The Platform Fee (900 AMD per dancer per event) covers operating costs of the registration system. Competition Fees are determined by the event organiser and must be paid to the organiser as part of the registration process. The platform supports secure online payments and issues receipts for Platform Fees.
Services for organisers
The platform provides organisers with free administration tools: event setup, entry management, participant lists, invoicing support, and basic reporting. These tools are provided at no cost to organisers to simplify event administration and ensure compliance with WIDA rules.
Important notes
- All registrations must comply with current WIDA rules and age categories. Refer to WIDA for details.
- Platform payments are non-transferable; check organiser refund policies for competition fees.
- If you are a teacher registering multiple dancers, use the teacher account to manage group entries.
